I haven't formatted my computer yet x_x' I'm feeling too lazy to do that, and my computer haven't done that whole freezing/BSOD again for like almost a month except for one occasion. But I've already done backup of most of my things (what? my country is in a crisis, and everything is costing an arm and a leg now) just in case anyway ;)
But enough ranting! This journal will not be focused on that (for a change *phew*). Thing is, some people have pointed out, and I have noticed as well, that my characters poses are usually stiff and boring. It got less worse over the years but it's definitely still there, reminding me how much that, for a 24 yr old loser, I'm not nearly as good as I should be at this point. Buuuut, I got some really good tips a week ago, by user :iconou-ren:, and it made me feel like a dumbass for a while actually. It's definitely one of those "how I've never heard/noticed that before?" kind of things XDDD

So, there's this trick called "line of action", that's basically a series of quick lines (or just one depending on what you're doing), you draw before setting your characters proportions and etc. They help you set the "flow" of the scenes/poses you're trying to do, so they'll look more dynamic and alive. Here's some links I've got from this user:

Nsio Explains: Advanced Dynamism

I've tried to do some drawings using this, and that's what I've got so far (one of them is kinda farservice-y, so you've been warned):

They probably could still use better anatomy more wicked crazy angles, and stuff like that, but I'm already seeing a difference, even if it's a really small one. Still feeling dumb for never heard of that before, though
